When Ashley and I met at a coffee shop in Asheville to talk about her wedding, I knew it was going to be a very special day. We sat and talked about chai, wedding details, and family for about two hours. In that time, I had learned that Ashley’s dad had recently passed. Through the hard times of losing her father, Michael was there for it all. On their wedding day, Ashley wore a necklace with his thumb print and Michael wore her fathers wedding band. Everything about their wedding day encompassed who they were as a couple, and even better…a family. There has never been two people who deserved such a special day more than them. Their small, tucked away, fall, mountain wedding was one that held so much love and meaning. I wish you both the best!!
