This Pawleys Island sunset proposal was one not to be forgotten! When Carson first reached out to me, I knew it was going to be a special day. I wasn’t prepared for how truly amazing it would be though! As I hid in a bush, Nat Geo Photographer style, with my zoom lens, I was able to hear the whole moment play out before it was finally go time. Carson had some family and friends come out to the dock with him and Anna at sunset to “take pictures before dinner”.
After snapping a few photos, their friends purposely forgot something inside and hurried back in to leave Anna and Carson alone. It was officially go time! Carson took Anna aside at the end of dock and popped the question at sunset. With a very excited YES from Anna, they were officially engaged! After many tears were wiped away, Carson pointed Anna over to look at her family who drove in to surprise her!
Although the surprises didn’t end there. After hugs, laughs, tears, and champagne was shared with family, we all headed over to the beach for what Anna thought was just some sunset couples portraits. In reality, all of their friends traveled into town and anxiously hid on the beach as the newly engages couple made their way down to the beach. The moment Anna saw them, it was a burst of emotions, excitement, cheers, and celebration! We ended the night snapping pictures as they twirled in the sunset on the beach. If you ask me, this Pawleys Island sunset proposal was a story book night! Congratulations to Anna and Carson!
