This Heyward Manor Wedding in Iva is truly one that I will love forever! I knew as soon as I talked to Audrey and Logan that they were special. There was no denying how much love they have for each other. Aside from loving each other, they also showed so much love to everyone around them! Their family, friends, and even their vendors!! One of my favorite stories is how Audrey told me that her and Logan met. As well as how they chose the location for their Heyward Manor Wedding.

This is what she said: “Logan and I met on the first day of classes my freshman year at Clemson and his sophomore year at Clemson. We both had 8am chemistry and I happened to sit next to him. He introduced himself to me and I remember thinking how cute he was. But I instantly forgot his name so I nicknamed him “cute chem guy” in my head. The next few weeks I never got to class in time to sit next to him so I made it a point to get to class early so that I could. After that day he started saving the seat next to him for me with his backpack so I would always be able to sit next to him 🙂

Two years later he proposed! We knew we wanted a timeless and elegant wedding so when we came across Heyward Manor it was a no brainer. We also wanted a church feel because we believe that marriage is the union with God at the center of it. Libby, the venue owner, explained to us the detail that went into designing the venue. She told us how every 4×4 wood plank has scripture written on the back of it. She also pointed out how the window design was designed to have a cross in the center of it. All of those intentional details are what made us love the venue and want to start our forever there”
